Flynn

is the achievement of Australian Borzoi breeder Margaret Davis (Russkimir). Decades of meticulous breeding preserved the English/European characteristics of her original imports in the 1960s, resulting in Aust.Ch. RUSSKIMIR RAINMIST (“Safi”), Flynn’s mother. The 2007 breeding of Safi to Australian Grand Champion ZEFNA ARAMIS, a grandson of the wonderful English import Eng.Ch./Aust.Ch. SHOLWOOD SONNET and son of Aust.Ch. ROTHESBY SWIFT OF SHOLWOOD, produced an amazing litter of eight, no less than SIX of which at the age of three have already obtained their Australian Championships – with the other two well on their way.

Flynn caused quite a stir recently when pictures of him were seen in Europe for the first time. After seeing the pedigree as well a number of breeders expressed interest in bringing frozen semen to Europe. To prevent overuse of this bloodline, only two litters have been contracted for Europe to begin with…
